HI. It's Samantha here blogging again after so long. Xieren was ytd but i didn't find time to blog (busy watching tv). and Im supposed to work on my project now. but still, i have things to say.

Eugenia, Emily and Yili are now the weiyuans. Can see that they can work well together, which is the best thing to know! (: AHHHH!! I love you all. I know i'll miss shufa, zhang lao shi, lu lao shi, li lao shi and all of you huiyuans! to all huiyuans: must listen to the weiyuans ok? Dont give them a hard time.

Haha, i may seem very unhappy or upset with some of you at times, but it was all for your own good. so dont misunderstand me! To all the sec 2s who didnt get into comm, try harder next year! Im sure your efforts will pay off. Try shufa as a passion, not a CCA and im sure all of you will love coming for CCA.

I'll come back to check on all of you (ahahah joking! came becasue i miss shufa) and to assist the weiyuans for a while too.

HI.. Have not posted for quite a LONG time. Haiz... didn't know what to write.. Anyway, i have seen some progress in some people and they make the effort to come on time for Shufa (which is good) *clap clap* yea, i can also see that many of you are practising a lot, which is good news too.

However, you all must still remember to wear your huifu!! for those in xiju, please wear a PE shirt if you have already forgotten. That's all i have to say. The following months will get tougher and tougher, but i believe all of you have the ability to sail through the following months without much difficultly. All the best!

There was a shufa competition last sunday. Congrats to those who won prizes. Great job to everyone who went :D Hope all of you will continue to put effort into shufa! Jiayou!

Just a gentle reminder (all of them are very important):
1) Please attend shufa every thursday punctually, according to the time schedule.
2) Please sit at your allocated seats. To faciliate attendance taking.
3) Please 请假 if you are not able to make it for shufa. In advance.
4) Please bring your maobi, mo etc every lesson.
5) Please wear your huifu (except xiju people) and do TUCK in your shirt properly.

Thank you all! Let's make shufa fun and enjoyable by working together :D

I've not been here for so long that I can't even remember the username haha....

just had this sudden urge to update the blog so yup here I am =]
I know this not a personal blog and being a senior I'm not exactly inclined to say anything about shufa or CS which means I've practically nothing to talk about. So forgive me for ranting nonsense.

But just hope everyone’s happy and fine. Sorry if sometimes I’m lazy and don’t really care. Sorry if sometimes I can’t be there.

I really don't know.. but shufa members are getting worse in a sense. As in, some of you don't want to wear your hui fu even though it's in your bag. I know this may some a bit hurting to some, but shufa and the shufa comm cannot do without the cooperation of ALL members in shufa.

All shufa people out there, please wear you huifus and TUCK THEM IN.. unless you want the comm members to help you with it.

I would like to make it clear to everyone. Everyone, EXCEPT for xiju and wudao people must stay till 4.15pm unless they have a valid reason. For Sec 3s, 2.15pm-4.15pm is already very short considering last year's time slot. 2 hours isn't a lot right? so please REMEMBER and not leave early or come late.

Also, please remember to bring your maobi and writing materials. Let me ask you one question, How do you practice calligraphy when you don't have your writing materials? PLease PLEASE remember to bring if you do not want to get scolded by me or any teachers. it is better to bring your materials then get scolded ok? thanks

Moreover, do not talk too much during huo dong. i know all of you want to interact with your friends. you can for a few minutes, but for the whole huo dong is a bit too much. you can talk outside shufa time. Cause talking will affect your concentration and you will take a longer time/less attention on your shufa. so i hope you can help me with all this.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, please wash your maobis carefully,,, do not drip your mo on the floor.. we will get complaints from the cleaner and it reflects very badly on Chinese Society as well as you yourself. Thanks

HA HA.. i am here to keep the shufa blog alive (it looks dead, doesn't it?) nvm. anyway we stayed back after youth day celebration to clean up the hui suo.. ha ha.. i didn't know that the rest had arrived early to pack the hui suo.. guess what i did? played water bomb.. ha ha.. and i got all wet. but nvm. hui suo looks cleaner now.. actuall.. shufa didn't have a lot of stuff to tidy.. just a table full of mo, maobi, zi tie and paper.. that's all and i didn't clear much either... I still did somehting ok!

NVM.. i think by now some of you have seen the lame picture of some of the comm members inside a hula-hoop.. guess what.. that was my lame idea.. i was playing with the hula hoop.. and something struck me.. yea so the picture was taken and stuff.. I SHOULDN'T BE SO MISCHIEVOUS NEXT TIME.. ): nvm.. i'll learn to be guai.. (those who have not seen the picture, you can go to wuda or xiju blog).. i dont have the picture :X

HELLO IT'S BUGGY AGAIN (:

shufa exhibition today. i suppose it was okay but i'm totally exhausted now!
standing up for so long is terrible...
my foot is screaming at me for torturing it. oh yes and my toe died too =(

and i have to confess that i can't speak in chinese at all, without inserting a few english words into the sentence.
please don't blame me! i can't help it. i can't even help it in front of our beloved CS teacher i/c okay. my inability to speak in chinese made xiaoqian and siewhong burst out in laughter today. but nvm xD
and there was this super nice teacher at the shufa booth, other than wang lao shi. she was trying to get me to speak in chinese. and she is really very nice to talk to! i like teachers who act like my friends :)

actually i was quite shy to explain the exhibitions when it first started. but later on it got a bit more interesting :)
AND THEN suddenly i realise i'm totally sick of repeating the explanations over and over again. at least one million times okay. and especially when the 'audience' doesn't exactly seem to be listening to you.
I bet that's how teachers feel when they are trying to teach me. because i'm not exactly the most diligent pupil in class. PATIENCE PLEASE xD

Being a very boring person, Xiaoqian decided to upload photos today. don't be mistaken, not photos of the exhibition today, but photos of a competition long ago.(I lag, I know). Don't worry, I promise not to show any faces.

It was the competition at NTU. Ya, NTU was HUGE.
their auditorium alone occupy a space much bigger than the current Dunman High field, multi-story somemore..there are lifts.

This is the auditorium, the place where we left our foot prints, finger prints and ink stains.

I think this is their stadium.I love the unique structure and yes the roof top =]

NTU Chinese Society!! COOL? I nearly burst into laughter when they thanked Zhong Wen Xue Hui Shufa Zu. I was like..haha..thank you thank you!!

I was sitting next to this reflective surface while splashing ink that day.

See the size of the paper???? AS HUGE AS NTU. I was soooooo shocked when I saw it I could do nothing other than splashing ink onto it.

Since we were literarily SPLASHING INK onto the paper, I went hiding behind Mich when Zhang Lao Shi walked past us. soooo scary. but he ignored my reluctance to see/talk to him and simply came to our table!!!!!! T.T invade my privacy.

Michelle said he's got something special that makes him walk and talk in this WOW way..dispite him being impolite to me earlier on, I agree.he's got a special charm...and his works are OMG AMAZING. haha

It's a pity that we didn't win anything that day, but good try guys! We can always work harder ya?

I'm tired uploading the photos, shall go sleep now!

HI! it's Mickey (Yun Li) here again.

Went to prepare for the kaleidoscope art gallery today.. so tiring.. i had to hang calligraphy works of seniors and others who have graduated... wah.. so energy and time consuming.. i had to climb UP and DOWN to get those calligraphy works in place and also up to the teacher's satisfaction.

Zhang Lao Shi came,,, but BUGGY wasnt around!!! so sad can.. buggy went for physics conference and left me and XIAO QIAN! alone.. ): i stood from 4 plus to around 6?? really very tiring.. had to tip toe a lot to hook the works and also had to help with a lot of stuff

After all these,,,, i had to carry a luggage with shufa stuff up to the teacher's staffroom???? so paiseh.. i looked like i was going on a holiday.. so in the end XIAO QIAN helped me haha.. lol.. i hope the kaleidoscope will be a success???

Dont know what was wrong with me.. i laughed with i almost fell and kept laughing when there was a bug on someone?? nvm i think i found nothing interesting even the slightest thing made me laugh

Buggy and I will be at the Art Gallery 'booth' since XIAO QIAN wont be free tomorrow.. (she has something to do) lol.. so good luck to me and Buggy.. must remember to bring tie..

HIHI :D

i came back from the shufa competition with a nice shiny trophy!
(but guess what?! the trophy wasn't mine -.-)
i spent the day as an impostor!
hahaha i was 'pretending' to be mi lan, and went up on stage to receive her prize.
the evil woman standing below the stage didn't let my beloved mickey go on stage with me, so i was standing there, lonely, and smiling unnaturally at the cameraman :(
i bet you all pity me now :D
but it wasn't really that scary. i'm just exaggerrating!

yuntong went on stage three times!
and thank you so much yuntong's mama for giving me the extra paper bag! you saved me the extreme embarrassment of carrying a humongous gold cup with red and white ribbons around it on the mrt :D

only me, mickey, and jinwen stayed back till 11.30 for the prize giving :)
the speeches made were terrible. i didn't even listen to a word of whatever those 'honourable people' were saying xD
the emcee was lame! her pronunciation is really bad. she called this primary school kid '先生', and even addressed one of the 'honourable people' as 'mao chi xiong' (which means cat eat bear in direct translation). mao chi xiong wasn't that guy's real name! it was sth else, but i forgot already :)
going home with jinwen and mickey was....HILARIOUS!
haha. we were pretending to be lin yu zhong (because it was raining)!
and we only had one umbrella, (and i already swore to keep the trophy dry even if it meant sacrificing my life -.-!), so we ended up as this small procession of people marching SOOO slowly to the mrt.
and dearest mickey notices the weirdest things! had a great laugh! ...for example someone who was wearing one black shoe and another white shoe.

i mucked up the competition again, was there splashing ink =/
and i should really learn to write SLOWER. too fast and i make lots of mistakes!
my current speed is about 5 times faster than a normal human.
oh dear, i'm abnormal! :D

ps. i'm emotionally traumatised. there was a moth in the toilet (and i was bathing)! i DETEST creepy things, especially if they FLY. or maybe i'm just jealous of their wings. i want wings too! xD

hello again!
i am so SICK and TIRED of doing my lunshuowen so i decided to post here :D

today got shufa competition! other than xiaoqian and mich, i don't know who's going but anyway JIAYOU!

now this is bringing back my memories of last year's competition. eek :(
i was practically just splashing ink around because the words were so difficult to write.
and the stupid organiser would scold and stare at anybody who takes more than one extra piece of paper.
so stingy for what?! GRR.
oh yes and its was a bad experience for our dear samCHAN also. because...the competition was supposed to be a "kaishu" competition. and dearest mickey writes "lushu". it's totally different okay! so...she was also splashing ink lor. anyway she tried her best :)

whee okay. enough of the bad experience i had last year!
i better go finish the sickening lunshuowen. must write in chinese okay. so difficult :(

hahaha, we have only 1 year one boy in shufa this year. quite pathetic leh! =(

anyway hope to get to know the new ones better! those PRCS from my class actually sit in front of me in class, so i already know them quite well!

Hi everyone!!! yay i'm back! haha.. yeah i'm going to tell a 'granma' story.. kidding.. just wanted to narrate what happened today.. Xin Yun, NingLi, Zina, Chen Lei, Cherise, I and never forgetting XIAO QIAN(the kind and artistic girl) decorated the CS board today.. it was on Mickey mouse and we had 4 mickeys and 1 minnie and a few deco at the side.
Firstly, Cherise and I started off with cutting small pieces of paper to create the filmstrip design... we were doing it then halfway through the process cherise went to do other stuff for shufa.. so i was left alone with ning li and zina to paste the pieces of paper.. it was tiring for sure.. but after completing it.. we felt very happy(at least for me).. haha..
Then, i went on to colour a fish for the decoration of the notice board and Chen Lei was saying, "Yun Li!! Guo lai bang wo!!!" haha but i was so in love with colouring i sort of ignored her.. so bad right? but nvm.. i helped her in the end.. and cut some red paper for the upcoming CNY celebration.. got my hands all red because of the colouring.. At 5 plus, chen lei had to catch the hostel bus and therefore left.. LOL so i abandon my red paper cutting duty and proceeded to piece up the notice board with cherise.. we started laughing again too... we pasted the mickeys and minnie on white drawing block then started pasting them together and cutting the paper according to the outline of the disney characters.. so tiring.. but still it was so nice!!!! it was jing ju's mickey at the front, followed by wen xue, xi ju, wu dao and shufa.. not kidding.. the mickeys are all so kawaii..
After we finished that, we pasted cardboard at the back of the mickeys to create a pop up effect but i dont think it worked... and i dont know what happened to it.. cause i had to chiong to my grandma's house for reunion dinner... it was sort of a rush cause i was supposed to leave school at 6pm.. but in the end i left at about 6.40.. so i took about 8 min to rush to the MRT?? haha was so tired and i sweated like mad.. but i thought it was worthwhile lah.. i think CS noticeboard is one of the nicest in the school compounD!!
Thanks CHERISE and XIAOQIAN!! so nice of both of you to walk me to the main gate.. will do the same next time.. JIA YOU CS! and wishing everyone a HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! BYE!!

shufa is in 2I and 2J now, the venue was changed. but of course we still have the aircon in 2J!
but after 3.45..when the xiju and wudao people have already left, the classroom is so empty! so sad :X

Sob.. i asked some juniors and one of them was interested to join wen xue.. but as you know, it is under the STARS section and she can't choose it as her first CCA... and the same oes for Shufa.. but i think there will still be some joining shufa as their second CCA, so JIA YOU SHUFA.. and for those already in shufa.. continue to love it and be brave to voice out your opinions in future to help shufa improve! Hello again! I'm here for the promised pictures of my zombie charm and one other photo. I forgot to take a pic of all the completed bookmarks! So sad. But never mind :D

I realised that no one reads this blog except for me and xiaoqian (and maybe sam&chenlei if they know the blog address)!

This is my zombie charm! You're supposed to stick it on your forehead. Written specially in my fake caoshu okay :D It looks so pixilated now!

This is evidence that cherise lau slacks when she was supposed to be writing shufa! :D

Today when I was giving out the bookmarks right, I heard this sec1 girl say:" wah the words very nice leh. they print one ar?" Haha so gratifying! I think me, xiaoqian and sam wrote that "zhongwenxuehui" until we really improved by ALOT ALOT ALOT! thats nice, but i don't think i wanna write those four words ever again. Hehe :D I have learnt one bigbig lesson! -I should practise every single word at least 100 times if I want it to look nice (and as if it really was printed)! Lol i was kidding. I'm not so hardworking la :D should have gotten the whole shufa group to write together, then everybody would also have improved at writing "zhongwenxuehui". jkjk. i won't torture you all ;D

oh yes thanks a lot xiaoqian for offering to help cover up my parts in the shufa skit today! i made lots of booboos, & my spoken chinese is so very bleah. sorry for also making sam and chenlei work extra hard to cover up my part! :X

HELLO! I'm performing emergency CPR on this very very dead ZOMBIE blog :D i actually almost forgot the username and password after creating it. Thank goodness i managed to recover it!

Just decided to upload some photos on my 3-day ordeal! preparing for the sec1's orientation. *PICKS UP A BIGBIG LOUDSPEAKER* sec1s all of you better not THROW AWAY the orientation gifts because i will come and SMACK you and make sure you fly all the way to mount merapi! just kidding. i am a nice senior kay :D

Can anybody guess which is the one I wrote? *Hint: there's xiaoqian's and samantha's writing there too* Sorry chenlei i couldn't find yours before i took that pic! :X Actually mine's the ugliest one, but never mind! I write very fast okay. HEHE :D
